Wonderful place to visit! Roads are a little precarious, but the property makes the drive worth it. The house was clean, and amenities all worked properly. Our only complaint was that the host, Fidum, sent conflicting information to what were told by the co-host's listing after purchasing rental (i.e check-in time, potential fees for a hot tub?, and amount of cars in the lot - something I wish was brought up sooner.) HOWEVER, messages were quick and both Forrest and Fidum are incredibly polite. ^ Hopefully the communication is fixed for future listings. Ignoring the slight confusion, this house is FANTASTIC, and both owners maintain the interior in excellent condition. If you're looking for a review to make your decision on, DEFINITELY give this property a shot! Just ensure that you have the car for the drive (although we had success with a FWD Accord.)

This is a beautiful home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a cozy basement set up with a walkout patio, large TV, and a gaming table which my family used a lot, a fully equipped deck with a grill, seating, hanging lights, and the most beautiful view of the mountains and sunsets. For activities within 20-45 minutes, there are some nice hikes, the towns of Winchester, front Royal, and Strausberg to walk around, caverns to check out, and vineyards to relax in. I ignored all the warnings about needing a four wheel/all-wheel-drive, and tried to take my 2016 CRV to the house. I did not make it up the steep gravel roads and had to park in a lot 15 minutes away. Fortunately, we had enough all wheel drives in our group that this was only a minor inconvenience. So you are forewarned. The perfect place to reconnect with the beauty of nature, small towns, and friends/family. Great memories were made here!

The house was beautiful, spacious and spotless. Furniture and beds were very comfortable and well-appointed. Views were amazing. Quiet and serene environment. Josephine was very responsive and helpful. They did not require tedious clean up before check-out. We would stay here again.

This is a beautiful house and it was brand new. The house was in immaculate condition and we loved it. Two things to note when you stay here: 1. The road to get here is extremely steep and (right now) it’s gravel. Be cautious if you do not have 4 wheel drive 2. The hot tub is not included in the list price. It is an extra $50 to use it / the fireplace. Overall, we would stay here again!

This house is brand new and gorgeous! Everyone in the group had a comfortable trip, and there's even a huge table to play cards together. The views are hard to beat! The location is on a mountain, so he prepared to drive on a mountain. We really enjoyed this house!

Great place to stay! Close to everything while feeling like you are out in the wild. The roads can be a bit tricky (we arrived at night in the fog). Everything was brand new. We will be back!

Gorgeous view and beautiful home! Very spacious and had everything we needed and more for myself, my husband, 10 month old daughter and 10 year old dog. From the crib and toys for our daughter, to dog bowls for the pup, and gorgeous views and coffee for us! Josephine’s place was great. She is an excellent host. When the high chair wasn’t there as mentioned upon our arrival, she went above and beyond and ordered one which was delivered by 9am the next morning! Steep hill but not a problem without snow and well worth the 20 minute drive to Shenandoah national park to be able to enjoy that view and home for the rest of our time. This listing was brand new and you could tell by all of the beautiful quality of everything. Hope everyone takes good care of this home and hope to return soon! Between the views and the tastefully decorated interior, I told my husband “I feel like we’re living in a magazine.”

This Airbnb just outside Front Royal, exceeded our expectations, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment. The hot tub, foosball, poker games, TV setup with game console, and breath-taking mountain views over the Shenandoah river created a memorable stay. Its location in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, combined with the host’s attentiveness and the property’s cleanliness, made it a top choice for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty and recreational offerings of this region. We would highly recommend it for future travelers seeking a comprehensive and enjoyable getaway.
